The guestrooms at Guest House FUTARENO-Hostel were absolutely comfy and cozy. I felt like I was wrapped in a warm hug! I really loved the individually decorated guestrooms. Each one had its own unique charm and style. The deep soaking bathtubs in the bathrooms were pure bliss after a long day of exploring Yokohama. Having access to shared bathrooms was not an issue at all. They were always clean and well-maintained. The free WiFi made it super easy for me to stay connected with my friends and family back home. The communal living room was a great place to relax and interact with other guests. It had a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home.
Personally, I'm not a big fan of communal bathrooms, but I understand that others may not mind it at all.

Located in an alleyway close to the subway station, this guest house offers convenience for travelers. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with traditional Japanese futon beds on tatami mats. The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained, providing a pleasant experience. The friendly staff create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making guests feel at home. There are also amenities such as a shared lounge area, well-equipped kitchen, and laundry services available.
One aspect that could be improved is the lack of outdoor seating or waiting area.

I felt like I was staying with close friends rather than at a guesthouse. The cozy and comfortable bed provided a great night's sleep. The traditional Japanese house had adorable decorations reminiscent of a Ghibli movie. I loved the curtains on the bunk beds for added privacy. The host's English skills made communication easy. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends visiting Yokohama. a great stay.

Super friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Loved the old-school Japanese dorm style rooms. The complimentary snacks and drinks were a nice touch.
The thin walls made it a bit noisy at times. Climbing to the upper deck of the bunk beds was tiring after a long day of walking.

Stayed at a charming old Japanese house with cozy atmosphere and free WiFi. Managed to not burn it down thanks to their fire extinguisher and smoke detector.
Too bad they didn't provide a first aid kit for my wounded pride when I tripped over their ancient tatami flooring.

We had a fantastic experience at this guesthouse. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt at home. The hosts, a lovely Japanese couple who have traveled the world, were welcoming and happy to share stories with us. The location in Sakuragicho was perfect for exploring Yokohama and the nearby Izakaya area. It's a peaceful neighborhood, but also conveniently close to Yokohama station for day trips to Tokyo. The ambience of the guesthouse was cozy and the hosts went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. It's especially great for solo travelers, as it feels like coming back to a home at the end of the day.
It was all superb! 😉

Nothing to complain about at all.
